What is "Smart Enhancement"?
BounceCast app's Smart Enhancement means a large number of audio post-production features that happen automatically in the background. BounceCast app runs on your local desktop using your device's CPU power for adaptive audio processing and making it lightning fast. Smart Enhancement feature can be used for both BounceCast recordings or imported pre-recorded files and is available only for subscription customers.
When the Smart Enhancement in "ON" (pink highlight colour), the app’s smart audio processing is able to adapt to your recording and the digital signal processing and mastering is in use. For example we apply EQ, limiting, compression, de-essing, level normalization and resonance control automatically optimised to your recording.
Once you have recorded or imported a pre-recorded file to BounceCast, you can simply A/B PREVIEW the sound quality by clicking the "Smart Enhancement" button ON and OFF. You can further tweak the sounds by applying the The "Special Processors". There's user selectable noise, click and rumble removal, and for stereo tracks you get the balancing option too. The "Special Processors" can be found under the MedKit button inside the app. When you are happy with the sound quality and want to move forward to the file export phase, please make sure you have the Smart Enhancement "ON" to apply the mastering to your exported file.
